Welcome Welcome to the DBC Services web site. The menu at the left is your navigation guide. Select something that interests you and you will be taken there. Back up and running July 1, 2004 The server has been down for several weeks, but it is up & running in a minimized capacity. This is a new server and a new installation. I am going to work on getting the pdf conversion utility running, so there will actually be something useful on this site at some time. I am also taking this opportunity to fine tune some of the scripts, etc. So there may be some bugs that will need to be worked out. Upload/Download Script Running March 31, 2004 I have started the upload/download feature running. Before now, the backend database was not running and uploaded files would not be moved/processed properly to the new download directory (which is read only). This is my own database and is very very alpha. I have not finished the client/server implementation so it is running by communication files that it looks for every 15 seconds. So there is a small delay between uploading and having it appear in the download section. This is quite prone to break as it is very alpha. Please let me know if this doesn't work by sending me an email under the link to the right. Site Updated March 28, 2004 I have updated the site to use an in-house written scripting program that handles cgi & basic html calls. All webpages on this site are dynamically created and loaded at call time. This is all done in C++ and occurs so quickly that there should be absolutetly no disadvantages to static html. The real advantages occur in dynamic pages as these compiled scripts run very quickly. If you have any comments of suggestions. Please let me know. |
